*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Podiatrist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating conditions related to the foot, ankle, and lower extremities. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a medical office or hospital setting. The Podiatrist will also engage in data collection and research activities to enhance patient outcomes and contribute to the field of podiatric medicine. *Responsibilities* * Conduct thorough examinations of patients? feet and lower extremities to diagnose conditions. * Develop and implement treatment plans for various podiatric issues, including pain management and acute care. * Perform surgical procedures as necessary, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and care. * Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems such as Epic or Cerner. * Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. * Engage in data collection for research purposes to improve treatment methodologies. * Educate patients on foot health, preventive care, and post-treatment protocols. * Stay updated on advancements in podiatric medicine and participate in continuing education opportunities. *Skills* * Strong knowledge of pediatrics as it relates to podiatric care is preferred. * Proficiency in using electronic health record systems (Epic, Cerner). * Experience working in a hospital environment is advantageous. * Excellent patient care skills with a focus on empathy and communication. * Ability to manage pain effectively through various treatment modalities. * Strong analytical skills for data collection and research initiatives. * Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities in a medical office setting. * Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
