*Job Overview*
Peacefully Nourished is a growing team of weight-inclusive, fat positive, Health at Every Size® and trauma informed providers. It primarily specializes in eating disorders, disordered eating, intuitive eating and pediatric nutrition with the teams lead Registered Dietitian. But is expanding its services to offer an array of multidisciplinary care providers. With core values of connection, compassion and collaboration. Aiming to provide a safe as possible space, that is trauma informed, person centred, anti-oppressive and values aligned.
We provide in person care in a unique location within a fully renovated barn on a crop farm. Located 8 minutes from downtown Lindsay. Treatment rooms are spacious, very high ceilings, furnished and have a large window. There is also a yoga studio on site (www.fieldsideyoga.ca). Practitioners work virtually and in person.
We are looking for a therapist to join PN team to expand the support for individuals. This role will be part-time with the opportunity for growth.
*Qualifications and Skills:*
Valid Liability Insurance
Are a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), Registered Psychotherapist, or Registered Social Worker in good standing with your respective Ontario college Have a strong understanding of the Health at Every Size ® framework, non-diet principles, and weight-inclusive care;
Incorporate a non-pathologizing, compassionate approach to psychotherapy; Have experience in delivering individual psychotherapy to adults using a variety of therapy modalities;
Enjoy working in a relaxed, supportive, and fun team environment.
Experience supporting individuals with eating disorders and body image is a strong asset.
*Duties*
* Conduct individual and group therapy sessions with children and their families.
* Develop personalized treatment plans based on thorough assessments and data collection.
* Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address various psychological issues.
* Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators and healthcare providers, to support client needs.
* Engage in ongoing research to stay current with best practices.
*Experience*
* A degree in psychology, social work, or a related field is required; licensure as a Psychotherapist is preferred.
* Experience working with adults, teens and families
* with struggles with body image, eating disorders, children in a clinical or educational setting is essential.
* Familiarity or professional development with a focus in eating disorders, body image, weight-inclusive care and HAES paradigms is highly desirable.
