_Breakfast Attendant_ _*Hotel Equities*_, one of the top hotel development and management companies in the industry, is currently searching for a remarkable Weekend & Relief Breakfast Attendant to join us at Comfort Suites Saskatoon! Our ideal candidate will be engaged, authentic, and prepared to positively impact our ?best in class? hotels! _*The shifts will be Saturday , Sunday & Holidays with the potential for extra days depending on business levels. Each shift is about 5 hours per day beginning at 5:15am on weekdays and 6:00am on weekends and holidays. *_ _Essential Duties:_ Extend a warm welcome and thank you to guests for staying with us and joining us for breakfast Set up and maintain breakfast buffet as required by brand standards Display and replenish dishes, utensils, cups, trays, and hot and cold food items Brew coffee and efficiently replenish breakfast food items Prepare fresh fruit, display breads and pastries Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized environment Remove dishes, clear tables, and empty garbage Check the cleaning frequency chart and ensure the required tasks are completed Monitor inventory levels of all food, beverages and supplies and assist with ordering of stock Ensure breakfast storage and preparation areas are clean and organized Report malfunctioning equipment, furniture in disrepair and other related deficiencies using the work order process to ensure they are rectified in a timely manner Adhere to company, legislation, brand and industry standards, policies, and procedures Support company, brand and industry environmental initiatives and programs through the use of environmentally friendly, sustainable products and best practices Other related duties as assigned _Safety & Security_ Maintain awareness of undesirable persons on property premises. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information _Physical Requirement_ Standing, bending, reaching, carrying, and lifting up to 30 lbs _Education & Experience_ High School graduate or equivalent Exceptional Customer skills Excellent written and verbal English communication skills Previous food and beverage serving experience is an asset, preferably in a hospitality setting. The opportunity is there for additional hours to be picked up as a HousePerson or Room Attendent after the Breakfast Room closes to make a full 8 hour shift most days. Please note: the successful candidate will be subject to a background check.
