*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the finishing of concrete surfaces, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of concrete forming techniques, as well as the ability to work effectively in various construction environments. *Duties* * Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials and direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade * Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement * Operate power vibrators to compact concrete * level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification * Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools * Install anchor bolts, steel plates, and other fixtures * Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces * Waterproof, damp proof and restore surfaces * Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures * Must participate and adhere to all safety rules and procedures Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal Contract length: 8 months Pay: $32.00-$35.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 ? 60 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Dental care * Disability insurance * Extended health care * Life insurance * RRSP match * Vision care Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * Evening shift * Monday to Friday * Morning shift * Overtime * Weekends as needed Experience: * concrete: 3 years (required) Work Location: In person- LocationCalgary, AB
