*Overview* We are a busy company with a need to hire experienced skilled Carpenters to work in the Cowichan Valley from Ladysmith to Mill Bay. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry tasks. This role requires a hands-on approach to construction projects, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. *Responsibilities:* * Measure, cut, shape and assemble wood and other materials according to specifications. * Select and use appropriate tools and materials for each project. * Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. * Conduct heavy lifting as required for materials and equipment. * Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe working environment. *Requirements* * Proven experience as a carpenter or in a similar role. * Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools. * Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. * Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. * Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged standing. * Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment. * A valid driver's license is required.
