We are seeking a *Truck Mechanic / Diesel Mechanic* (*310T Truck and Coach Mechanic*) who thrives in a dynamic environment and has the skills to maintain and repair a variety of vehicles. Snowplow truck repair experience is a *huge asset*, as is expertise with computer diagnostics. *Key Responsibilities* * Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair trucks and equipment, including diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems. * Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on our fleet, ensuring safety and efficiency. * Conduct computer diagnostics to identify and resolve technical issues. * Service a wide range of vehicles, including dump trucks, rolloff trucks, vac trucks, and snowplow trucks. * Collaborate with a skilled team to maintain fleet readiness for both construction and winter maintenance operations. * Maintain accurate service records and follow company safety protocols. *Qualifications* * Experience as a *Truck Mechanic* or *Diesel Mechanic* (310T license preferred but not required). * Strong understanding of computer diagnostics for vehicle troubleshooting. * Experience with snowplow truck repairs is a significant asset. * Familiarity with hydraulic and electrical systems. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. * A valid driver's license is required; a commercial license (DZ or AZ) is an asset. *About Us* Rafat General Contracting is Canada?s fastest-growing construction company, renowned for its green and red branded trucks seen throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Job Type: Full-time Schedule: * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Experience: * truck mechanic: 1 year (preferred) * computer diagnostics: 1 year (preferred) * snowplow repair: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person
