In return, we?ll help you build a career that you can feel passionate about.</span></span></p><div><div><div><div><b>Job Summary</b></div> </div><div><p> </p><p>As a <b>Technician </b>for our <b>Clinical Laboratory</b> department located in <b>Senneville</b>, you will perform technical activities and follow directives from the study/phase plan and the procedures. Your success will ensure the smooth running of our research, as well as the integrity of our pre-clinical studies.</p><p> </p><p>In this role, primary <b>responsibilities </b>include: </p><p> </p><ul><li>Perform the preparation and the analysis of samples .</li><li>Perform phlebotomy.</li><li>Perform the quality control procedure and maintenances on different instruments.</li><li>Perform the activities in a timely fashion by adhering to preset schedules.</li><li>Use a computer system for accurate and detailed data collection.</li><li>Ensure the integrity of the studies and fulfill the regulatory agencies requirements by performing the activities according to the GLP, SOP and health and safety rules.</li><li>Perform all other related duties as assigned.</li></ul><p> </p></div></div><div><div><div><b>Key Elements</b></div> </div><div><p> </p><p>If you possess the following <b>qualifications</b>, we will train you in the rest:</p><p> </p><ul><li>College diploma,<b> Medical Technologist.</b></li><li> <b>Must have </b>Member of the Professional Order of Medical Technologists of Quebec (<b>OPTMQ</b>).</li><li>Good attention to details.</li><li>Able to work physically (lift up to 20 kg, walk, stand, stoop, etc.).</li><li>Understanding of written English is mandatory. Bilingualism French and English is preferable.</li></ul><p> </p><p><b><span>Role Specific Information: </span></b></p><p> </p><ul><li>Location: Senneville / Free parking / Free shuttle service from the Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue train station and John Abbott College to the Senneville site.</li><li>Salary: $23/hrs.</li><li>Annual bonus based on performance plan.</li><li>Flexible schedule, depending on the needs you must be available to work during days, evening, weekends, and holidays, depending on the needs. </li><li>Regular schedule: Monday to Friday between 7am and 3:15 pm.</li><li>Permanent position as of the hiring, full-time 37.5hrs per week.</li><li>OPTMQ fees covered.</li></ul><p> </p></div></div><div><div><div><b>Why Charles River ? </b></div> </div><div><p> </p><ul><li>Competitive benefits as of the hiring.
