Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. Osteopathic medicine/osteopathy (DO). or equivalent experience. Work setting: Clinic. Tasks: Employ natural methods of healing such as acupuncture and acupressure, spinal manipulation, reflexology and hydrotherapy. Diagnose disorders and injuries of the musculo-skeletal, circulatory and nervous systems. Treat patients with manipulative therapy, medications or surgery. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Licensure in osteopathy by provincial or territorial authorities. Area of specialization: Osteopathy. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Bending, crouching, kneeling.
