Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. Naturopathic medicine/naturopathy (ND). or equivalent experience. Work setting: Clinic. Tasks: Diagnose disorders and injuries of the musculo-skeletal, circulatory and nervous systems. Treat patients with manipulative therapy, medications or surgery. Employ natural methods of healing such as acupuncture and acupressure, spinal manipulation, reflexology and hydrotherapy. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Licensure in naturopathy by provincial or territorial authorities. Area of specialization: Naturopathy. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Fast-paced environment. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Physically demanding.
