Position Overview: We are seeking a talented Full Stack Developer with a passion for technology and the skills to handle both front-end and back-end development. As a key member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact by contributing to the development of our groundbreaking auction platform. *Development Skills:* · Experience with Laravel framework, including MVC architecture, routing, middleware, and eloquent ORM. · Ability to develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party APIs. · Strong knowledge of Svelte framework for building reactive and component-based frontend applications. · Experience with state management in Svelte using stores or context API · Understanding of cPanel and WHM for server management, including domain management, file management, and security settings. · Ability to configure DNS settings, SSL certificates, and server backups through cPanel. · Experience in implementing real-time features using WebSockets, preferably with Pusher or similar services. · Understanding of event-driven architecture and handling bidirectional communication between server and client. · Proficiency in using Tailwind CSS for responsive and utility-first frontend development. · Ability to customize and extend Tailwind CSS utilities according to design requirements. · Familiarity with MySQL database management within Laravel, including migrations, seeding, querying, and optimization. · Understanding of database relationships (e.g., one-to-many, many-to-many) and their implementation. · Proficiency in Git for version control, including branching, merging, and pull requests. · Experience with deployment processes using tools like GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or similar. · Basic knowledge of UI/UX design principles and ability to implement responsive designs. · Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices. · Ability to write unit tests using PHPUnit for backend functionality. · Experience in frontend testing frameworks like Jest for Svelte components. · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues across the stack. · Ability to document code, processes, and APIs effectively for team collaboration. · Comfortable working in a team environment, participating in code reviews, and providing constructive feedback. · Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders. · Willingness to learn new technologies and frameworks as required by the project. · Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities. *General Requirements:* · Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles. · Ability to write clean, reusable, and efficient code. · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. · 7 years of relevant experience in these types of systems is required. *Benefits:* Working with My Grain Exchange comes with a range of benefits, including: · The opportunity to get in at the ground level with an exciting startup that will radically change the grain marketing process for the better. · The chance to build experience in the development of a web-based auction platform. · The ability to work closely with a team of passionate professionals dedicated to revolutionizing the grain marketing process. · A competitive salary that recognizes your qualifications, education, and experience. · Opportunities for advancement, training, and management positions.
