*Job Description*
Kipling is currently looking for a *Paralegal* to join our Toronto team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting our corporate and management team preparing real estate. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of property law and real estate transactions, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. This role is essential to maintaining the high standards of service we provide to our clients.
*Responsibilities*
· Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
· Assist and or prepare real estate documents, offers to lease and, leases, management agreements etc.
· Ensure the company stays current on industry trends affecting our clients and leases.
· Review and summarize legal documents, contracts, and other materials related to the company?s real estate portfolio.
· Coordinate the preparation and filing of legal documents with government agencies.
· Maintain databases, and document management systems.
*The ideal candidate for this position will have the following background:*
· Associate?s degree in legal Studies, or a related field.
· Certification from an accredited paralegal program is preferred.
· Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on real estate law.
· Strong understanding of commercial and industrial real estate leases, and legal terminology.
· Excellent research, analytical, and organizational skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases.
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
· High level of integrity and professionalism.
