*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideacandidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various stores, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires strong time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This job is servicing stores in Castlegar, Trail, and Nelson. We would like to leave equipment there. The ideal canditate will have a vehicle capable of towing a small cargo trailer, as well as storage capabilities. Milage will be paid. We are happy to pay by the hour, or sub contract. *Duties* * Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, scrubbing, and polishing floors * Utilize commercial cleaning equipment and supplies effectively to ensure high standards of cleanliness. * Operate power equipment and hand tools safely while performing maintenance tasks as needed. * * Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or requests from facility occupants. * Assist with facilities maintenance tasks, ensuring that all areas are well-kept and functional. * Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding cleaning schedules and any issues encountered during shifts. *Qualifications* * Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not required. * Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently. * Ability to operate power equipment and hand tools safely and effectively. * * Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with facility occupants. * Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is a plus. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean environment.
