*Role Overview*
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented *Intermediate Interior Designer* to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong design background, excellent communication skills, and experience managing projects from concept to completion. As an intermediate designer, you will play a vital role in the design process, contributing to space planning, building code compliance, and the overall project execution.
*Key Responsibilities*
* *Design Development:*
* Develop creative design concepts for commercial and residential projects.
* Create detailed drawings, renderings, and presentations to convey design intent.
* Select materials, finishes, furniture, and accessories aligned with client goals and project requirements.
* *Space Planning:*
* Design and optimize layouts to ensure efficient use of space, functionality, and aesthetics.
* Prepare and review space plans that comply with client requirements and local building codes.
* *Building Code Compliance:*
* Ensure all designs adhere to applicable building codes, zoning laws, and accessibility standards.
* Stay updated on changes in building regulations and integrate them into project designs.
* *Project Coordination:*
* Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure design integrity and project timelines.
* Conduct site visits to oversee installations and ensure compliance with design specifications.
* *Client Interaction:*
* Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, needs, and budget.
* Present design concepts and revisions professionally and persuasively.
* *Documentation & Compliance:*
* Prepare and review construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.
* Document project goals and maintain organized project files.
*Qualifications & Skills*
* *Education:*
* Bachelor?s degree or diploma in Interior Design or a related field.
* *Experience:*
* 3?5 years of experience in interior design, including space planning and building code compliance.
* *Technical Skills:*
* Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or Revit.
* Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
* *Soft Skills:*
* Strong communication and presentation skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
