*Position Overview*
Currently looking to hire an experienced, take-charge, and friendly Accounting individual to assist the Controller in aspects of A/R and A/P. The position is ideally suited to someone who has 2+ years experience, is adaptable and flexible as the business grows, and is a positive individual with a ?roll up the sleeves approach? to their job.
· Posting A/R invoices from parts orders received from our Parts Fulfillment Centre
· Application of Receipts through various methods (cheques, online payments)
· Regular checking and maintaining of the A/R, A/P Agings, and assistance with collections
· Answer questions and handle complaints from customers regarding bills
· Posting of Warranty and Recall claims, and tracking/reconciling these in the dealer?s/manufacturer?s warranty portals
· Liaising with our dealer network in tracking/settling payments
· Posting and payment of A/P bills, and subcontractor invoices for weekly cheque run
· Preparation of the payroll from timesheets submitted bi-weekly
· Other accounting related activities as required
*Qualifications:*
-Working knowledge of relevant software, especially Quickbooks Online (QBO) is required-
- Working knowledge of inventory software such as Fishbowl is an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Prior experience in accounting is mandatory
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Above average communication skills
-Must be able to multitask
-Must be willing to travel to Pickering for some training and for meetings as required.
