*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shop Manager to oversee daily operations in our automotive repair facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for automotive repair, ensuring that our team delivers high-quality service to our customers. As the Shop Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. *Duties* * Supervise and coordinate the activities of shop personnel to ensure efficient workflow and productivity. * Oversee the repair and maintenance of vehicles, ensuring all work is completed to industry standards. * Manage inventory of parts and tools, ensuring availability for daily operations. * Conduct regular inspections of equipment and tools, maintaining a safe working environment. * Provide training and support to staff on the use of hand tools and power tools. * Implement best practices for shop operations, including scheduling, quality control, and customer service. * Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, fostering positive relationships with clients. * Ensure compliance with dealership policies and industry regulations. *Experience* * Proven experience in automotive repair or as a mechanic is essential. * Body Shop Experience is a must. * Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools. * Ability to perform heavy lifting as required in a workshop environment. * Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within an automotive setting is mandatory. * Familiarity with dealership operations is a plus.
