We are looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the project given. Ensuring that projects are completed on time. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of exterior and interior framing, Experience in framing Pergolas, Sheds, Decks is a must. Along with home editions, screen rooms. excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a team, Must have a good knowledge of building codes. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, teamplaying individual to join a growing company and take their career to the next level. Some basic tools will be required but we provide a majority of other tools needed to complete the job. This is a full time position, We do work in the winter, most of our work is interior/exterior renovations till the summer when the weather warms up. Requirements: * Ability to complete the project given and finished in an efficient timely manor. * Minimum 3-5 years experience in Exterior and Interior Framing, Pergolas, Sheds, Decks, Exterior/Interior framing including finish carpentry. * Knowledge of building codes is a must. * Ensure that all safety protocols are followed. * Ability to be a team player. * Perform quality control checks on completed work. * Inspect equipment and tools to ensure proper functioning. Start time is 7am daily. Some out of town work. Mostly located in Winnipeg. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 ? 50 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * On-site parking Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * Monday to Friday * Overtime * Weekends as needed Ability to commute/relocate: * Winnipeg, MB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Education: * Secondary School (preferred) Experience: * Landscaping: 1 year (preferred) * Carpentry: 3 years (required) Licence/Certification: * Class 5 Licence (required) Work Location: In person
