Ø Required to work 12 hour shifts ? days and nights ? over 7 day work weeks (including holidays) Security is responsible for preventing unauthorized people from entering Orlicks property at 411 Parkdale. Screen, monitor and direct all people and vehicles entering the 411 Parkdale facility. Detain unidentified personnel/vehicles until verified. Notify the appropriate Orlick personnel of appointments/visitors. Check and direct all incoming and outgoing commercial vehicles. Keep truck logs in the security office for viewing if required. Knowledgeable and capable of handling plant security incidents: fire, injury, trespassing. Accurate and timely documentation - security log sheets, visitor passes, truck logs and required paperwork. Carry out nigh shift and weekend rounds. When alarm sounds contact appropriate personnel by telephone in order to rectify the problem. Attend to the phone system and forward calls to the appropriate person.
