We have an exciting opportunity for someone interested in working as part of a co-care medical team to provide primary care, as well as leading longevity and optimization medicine to patients. In this role you will provide expert advice and treatments to Aeon's patients, as well as have the opportunity to enhance your skills by working with a diverse set of Medical Doctors and Naturopathic Doctors with specialties in areas such as hormone optimization, ketamine treatment, medically assisted weigh management, and longevity medicine.
We are looking for someone who wants to grow with us and likes to influence their work environment. This role will allow you to expand your hours and areas of focus over time and build new health programs with our team. You are able to join us as an employee or an independent contractor. Our clinic is open Monday to Friday from 7am-7pm and we are able to build a work schedule with you to meet our respective needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct primary care
* Conduct initial consultations with clients to understand their health status and wellness goals.
* In collaboration with clients develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to their individual needs, preferences, and goals.
* Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as blood work and other imaging studies as needed
* Prescribe medications and follow up with clients as needed
* Collaborate with Aeon physicians, nurses, allied health professionals, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and holistic care for patients.
* Educate clients on health promotion, longevity and self-management strategies
* Focus on health promotion, longevity medicine and disease prevention.
* Participate in co-care meetings and contribute to program development and optimization
* Delivery annual physicals and ongoing HRT treatment
Qualifications:
* Must have a current license in good standing with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA)
* Maintain current BLS certification
* Minimum 2 years relevant clinical experience
* Excellent communication skills, as well as collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
* Minimum 5 years customer service and/or patient care experience
