*The Universal Interventional Pain Clinic *is looking to hire a Physicians Assistant/Medical Associate to assist in daily clinical duties. The ideal candidate must be available every *Tuesday*. *Qualifications:* · Medical background (IMG or CSA) · Passed NAC-OSCE or MCCQE2 and MCCQE1 or MCCEE · Strong written and oral communication skills · Excellent English proficiency- IELTS band score 7 or higher or TOEFL score 93 or higher (not required for CSAs) · Familiar with the Canadian healthcare system structure · Previous working experience in a clinical setting in Canada · Strong interpersonal skill is an asset to this position · Available to work on weekends · Having a driving license is an asset · Passionate to learn and open to feedback *Duties:* · Pre-assess patients to obtain a detailed history and perform a complete physical examination · Summarize the information on the patient?s paper chart as well as making documentation in the EMR · Present a summary of patient?s history and physical examination to the attending physician · Communicate with staff regarding scheduling and organizing patients? charts · Prepare a comprehensive report of the visit to be sent to the referring physicians Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Benefits: * On-site parking Schedule: * 10 hour shift * 8 hour shift * Day shift Experience: * Physician Assistant: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationYork, ON
