We are seeking a top candidate to join our team as *Optometrist Assistant*. *Compensation:* CAD 19 - 21/hour. + Health insurance *Location:* 2415 Kingsway, Vancouver, BC, Canada. *Mission of Integra Eyecare Centre:* Our mission is to bring together a highly skilled team and the most innovative technology to provide our patients a unique eyecare experience with warmth and integrity. *What makes you a strong candidate:* * You are *proficient *in eye care, and eye examination. * You are *beginner *in administrative assistance, appointment management, Billing, and office administration. * *English *- Native or fully fluent_._ *Responsibilities and more:* We are expanding our excellent team of eye care professionals in our state-of-the-art clinic, and WE WANT YOU TO JOIN US! We are looking for a positive, detail-oriented, proactive candidate to join our team. Responsibilities: * Greet patients and assist them in completing initial paperwork. * Escort patients to examination rooms and prepare them for optometric exams. * Perform preliminary screening tests such as visual acuity, color vision, depth perception, and intraocular pressure. * Administer diagnostic tests as instructed by the optometrist, such as retinal imaging or visual field-testing. * Assist with contact lens fittings and instruct patients on proper insertion, removal, and care techniques. * Maintain and sterilize optometric instruments and ensure examination rooms are clean and stocked with supplies. * Provide administrative support including scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and managing patient records. * Educate patients on eyewear options, lens selection, and frame styling based on prescriptions. * Handle billing and insurance processing related to patient visits. * Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations. *Your potential leader(s):* Dr Henry Reis, Founder and CEO @AI4Eyes; Owner and CEO @Integra Eyecare.
