*CRC Wellhead Supply Co Ltd* Position Offered: Permanent Full-Time Welder Location: Edmonton, AB For over 4 decades, CRC Wellhead Supply Co Ltd in Edmonton has been the industry-leading supplier of select wellhead parts and equipment for custom projects across North America. We are a medium size machine shop in the southeast of Edmonton and currently have 30 full-time staff. We are currently looking for a Welder to fill the vacancy within our team. This position requires a highly motivated and versatile person. *ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* (including but not limited to) - Read and interpret manufacturing drawings or welding process specifications. - Set up on weld positioner, spinner, roll welds - Produce ?x-Ray? quality welds using SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW - Perform Fit-ups, pressure containing welds. - Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer?s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs. - Consistently display a sense of urgency in meeting all deadlines and goals, keeping in mind that quality and timeliness are of paramount importance to management and our customers. - Must keep workstation and equipment clean daily & maintenance up to date. - Make supervisor aware of unsafe work practices or conditions. *REQUIREMENTS* - B Pressure Welder certification - Minimum 5 years of experience - Must have general knowledge of: - procedures and quality control, metals, alloys, and other materials; - welding equipment and tools, including their design, uses, repair and maintenance. - Must possess strong attention to detail & communication skills. - Must have the ability to read & interpret manufacturing drawings. - Ability to operate Forklift abiding by all Safety Regulations - Must be re-certified by an independent certification company every two years *PHYSICAL DEMANDS* - The employee is regularly required to stand for a prolonged period of time. - The employee must have the ability to lift at least 50 lbs. maximum; frequent lifting and/or carrying up to 20 lbs.; be able to lift, pull and push material and equipment to complete assigned job tasks. *POSITION DETAILS* - Day Shift ? Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. - Overtime and Saturday Shift may be required dependent on Business conditions - Employee Compensation Package after a successful 3-month probationary period. - Wage is negotiable based on experience.
