*Job Description* * Full-time Licensed Optician *Responsibilities* * Assisting our patients in finding the best frame and lens technology to suit their fashion and prescription needs all the while providing them with a fun and informative personalized experience * Storytelling: Our independent eyewear brands all have unique stories to share about design, production and what sets them apart from mass-produced brands. Sharing these stories makes each sale a personalized experience for our customers. * Processing spectacle orders, frame adjustments/repairs and other administrative tasks as assigned * Maintaining an organized and presentable boutique * Contact lens fitting * Lens edging experience is an asset *About* * With 8 Optometrists and over 100 years of combined industry experience, we provide exceptional service in an inclusive and welcoming environment. We are an independent Optometry Practice and Eyewear Boutique, focusing on showcasing the best independent eyewear designers. With access to over 2,000 frames, including independent frame lines such as Blake Kuwahara, Bruno Chaussignand, Lindberg, l.a. Eyeworks, SALT, Vinylize, and more, you'll never run out of options to showcase your creativity and expertise. *Wage* * Wage will be based on industry experience Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 ? 40 per week Benefits: * Casual dress * Company events * Paid time off * Store discount * Vision care Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Evening shift * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Work Location: In person- LocationWaterloo, ON
