Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Pharmacy technician/assistant. Tasks: Ensure the information on prescriptions is accurate. Enter client information in databases. Prepare medications for clients. Supervise and direct activities of other medical technologists or technicians. Compound oral solutions, ointments and creams. Maintain inventories of medications and prescription records of pharmaceutical products. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, walking.
