*Job Overview* We seek a dedicated and responsible Bus Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing safe and reliable transportation for elementary school children. This role requires excellent communication skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to educate passengers about safety protocols. Applicants with experience in commercial driving are highly encouraged to apply. Must have a valid school bus license (Class B) and a recent Vulnerable Sector Police check. You will drive a school bus route in the morning and afternoon throughout the school year around Drayton, Ontario. *Duties* * Safely operate a bus on assigned routes while adhering to traffic laws and regulations. * Assist passengers in boarding and alighting the bus. * Ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers during transit. * Communicate effectively with passengers and parents regarding route information and schedules. * Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of the bus by conducting routine inspections. * Educate passengers on safety measures and emergency procedures. * Provide exceptional customer service by addressing passenger inquiries and concerns. * Document any incidents or issues that arise during transit. *Skills* * Strong customer service skills with a focus on senior care. * Excellent communication skills in English. * Ability to write reports and maintain accurate records. * Commercial driving experience is required, with a valid school bus driver's license (Class B). * Ability to educate passengers on safety protocols and provide assistance as needed. * Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with passengers.
