*Job Overview* We are seeking a Lead Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires an experienced dental assistant, who is confident, detail oriented, is able to think 2 steps ahead in order to ensure daily flow. The ideal candidate should show initiative in learning things they may not know, and express need for patient quality care. *Responsibilities* * Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by handing instruments and materials as needed. * Prepare and maintain the treatment room, ensuring it is clean, organized, and equipped with necessary supplies. * Take dental radiographs (X-rays) * Record patient information accurately in the dental software system, ensuring all medical histories are up to date. * Complete office orders * Ensure Invisalign consultations are done correct *Experience* * At least 3 years of Canadian Dental Assisting experience * Familiarity with dental software Abeldent is highly desirable. * Understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry is beneficial. * Experience with Root Canals, Crown Preps, Invisalign Scanning/Photos, Implants and Extractions is required. * Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment are essential. * Experience with maintaining office orders If you are looking for a dental clinic where you are able to grow long-term, then this is the one for you!
