For more information, please visit www.coppercore.com. *ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:* * Some technical knowledge, training and experience in manufacturing environment is required. * Ability to interpret blue prints and drawings. * Problem solving skills. * Understanding fractions and decimals. * Communication skills (English - written and verbal). * Physically fit. * Crane/Hoist safety certificate (training may be provided). * WHMIS. *MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* * Conducts pre-shift inspection of cranes/hoists, equipment, and tools. * Reports deficiencies to the production supervisor. * Operates cranes/hoists to transport or position large parts as required. * Assembles, fits and installs prefabricated parts to form subassemblies or finish products using hand and power tools according to Production Worksheet and drawing or verbal instructions. * Ability to use brazing (silver & soft solder). * Uses and operate hand tools, power tools in a safe manner. * Positions, aligns and adjust parts for proper fit and puts them together with fasteners. * Cleans equipment, tools and the working area at the end of the shift or as required. * Maintains daily production requirements and ensures quality of products by checking and inspecting finished products for proper quality. * Prepares production reports as required. * Recommends measures to improve productivity and product quality to the supervisor. * Adheres to the company?s policies and procedures. * Follows health and safety rules and procedures. * Works with minimum of supervision. * Requires to cross-train. * Any other duties as required by management from time to time.
