Our dedicated team cultivates professional relationships with participants to ensure they have access to the opportunities they deserve, through 30-plus programs and over 200 staff in the region.
*McMan is looking for a Part Time Youth Worker for the Child and Youth Development Program in Brooks.*
*Here?s how you will contribute as a Youth Worker within the Child and Youth Development Program*:
* Review referrals with the Program Supervisor to provide programming based on developmental needs.
* Provide skill-building to support intellectual growth to youth aged 7-17 on an individual and group basis.
* Case management (including record keeping and report writing), attend case conferences and collaboration with community partners.
* Refer youth and families to appropriate community resources.
*This position will start as soon as we find the right person!*

*Here?s what you?ll need to get an interview:*
* Human Services Degree or Diploma, with related experience in the Human Services field and a member of good standing with the applicable professional association. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
* Previous experience working with youth.
* Excellent communication, facilitation, organizational and computer skills as well as a strong knowledge of community resources.
* Willing to work a flexible schedule. Typical schedule is Monday ? Friday afternoon and evenings but may include possible weekends based on the needs of the program and participants.
* Reliable vehicle, valid class 5 Driver?s Licence, and minimum $2M third party liability insurance, Driver?s Abstract with less than six demerits.
* Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector within the last six months.
* Clear Child Intervention Record Check within the last six months.
* Standard First Aid CPR Level C Certificate
