Saskatoon Local manufacturing firm is seeking an individual who will be responsible for shipping and receiving of product and materials. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a variety of capacities within the organization and will be a key member of the organization. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, career-oriented individual looking to grow within a local, medium sized organization. *Responsibilities will include:* Manage the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies Collaborate and communicate with logistics companies, sales representatives, production staff, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products Coordinating the processing of outgoing product, preparing and loading material in a timely manner to meet delivery deadlines and customer commitments Receiving incoming shipments and checking for correctness of product received Maintaining inventory and keeping inventory organised Distributing product to correct areas in warehouse Maintaining a clean, neat, and organized work environment Promptly unloads trucks and deliveries and sorts and stocks receivables. Performing routine maintenance and inspection on equipment and vehicles Assists in other warehouse and manufacturing duties as required Assisting customers with loading and unloading of items Picking orders, boxing and palletizing orders. Engage with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude. *Qualifications: * Grade 12 education Knowledge of shipping/receiving procedures Current forklift certificate or equivalent is required Valid Class 5 Drivers License & clear driver?s abstract Able to lift 50 pounds High level of commitment Strong attention to detail Good communication skills The position requires a self-motivated team player capable of managing multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $20.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * Life insurance * RRSP match * Vision care Schedule: * 8 hour shift Work Location: In person
