*Job Summary* Heritage Optometric is a full-scope, 5 doctor Optometry clinic located in the heart of Carleton Place. We pride ourselves on being community oriented and dedicated to the highest level of patient care. We have expanded our services to now include in-office dry eye treatments using IPL (Intense Pulse Light) and Radiofrequency (RF) with Inmode technology. We are seeking someone with esthetics knowledge/background, to help in performing these treatments in consult with our doctors. We currently run treatments 1-2 days per week. Position will start as part-time/casual with capacity to grow. *Responsibilities* * Assist with implementing and managing treatment plans for dry eye patients, including advanced therapies (IPL, RF, ZEST eyelid hygiene) * Connect with prospective patients to review treatment plan, health/consent forms, and schedule accordingly * Follow up with patients post treatment and throughout treatment course as needed *Requirements* * Previous experience in dry eye treatment is an asset but not required * training as a medical aesthetician, ophthalmic technician or similar field * Proficiency with advanced technologies such as IPL, RF devices or other therapeutic equipment is preferred.
