Job details
Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. Work setting: Nursing home/home for the aged. Tasks: Carry out treatment programs, under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists, to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities. Follow through on treatment programs with patients. Clean and maintain equipment. Document patient rehabilitation progress. Schedule and confirm appointments. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : CPR Certificate. First Aid Certificate. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Physically demanding. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Personal suitability: Client focus. Dependability. Excellent oral communication. Team player. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?.
