\*Job Overview\* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care and education to our patients, ensuring their oral health is maintained and improved. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as we serve a diverse patient population. \*Duties\* - Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth. - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. - Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. - Assist in identifying potential oral health issues and recommend appropriate treatment options. - Maintain accurate patient records using Abeldent software, ensuring all medical terminology is correctly documented. - Collaborate with the dentist to provide comprehensive care for patients, including those in pediatrics and orthodontics. - Provide exceptional customer service to create a welcoming environment for patients. - Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment. \*Qualifications\* - License to practice as a Dental Hygienist. - Previous experience in a dental office setting preferred; experience with dental assisting is a plus. - Proficiency in using Abeldent or similar dental practice management software is desirable. - Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry. - Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages. - Bilingual abilities are highly valued, enhancing communication with our diverse patient base. - A passion for dentistry and commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
