*Job Summary:*
As the Production Manager at HIDEAWAY Inc., you will be responsible for overseeing the entire manufacturing project flow within our shop. Reporting directly to the Shop Manager, this pivotal role involves managing multiple projects, setting clear priorities, and maintaining smooth shop operations. We?re seeking a versatile and proactive professional with a hands-on approach, capable of overseeing production workflows, fostering effective team communication, and thriving in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate brings exceptional organizational skills, a solid background in manufacturing processes, and the ability to expertly manage complex projects in a fast-paced setting.
*Job Responsibilities:*
* *Project Coordination:* Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met. Implement strategies to optimize manufacturing efficiency and productivity.
* *ERP Management*: Oversee the use of the Monday platform to track project progress, allocate tasks, and update timelines.
* *Shop Flow Management:* Coordinate the movement of jobs through the shop to maintain efficiency and order.
* *Team Communication:* Serve as the communication hub, providing clear guidance on project priorities to staff and fostering collaboration across teams.
* *Resource Location:* Ensure tools, materials, and resources are available and properly allocated to meet project needs.
* *Hands-On Problem Solving: *Step in where needed to address production challenges, demonstrating a willingness to get involved in shop-floor tasks.
*Qualifications and Requirements:*
* A diploma or degree in manufacturing, engineering, operations management, or a related field is preferred. Relevant work experience will be considered in place of formal education.
* PMP certification/Training in Lean Manufacturing processes are considered assets.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with exposure to coordinating projects and hands-on experience with tools.
* Proficiency with the Monday platform or similar ERP software is an asset; a willingness to learn is required.
*Skills and Abilities*
* Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to clearly communicate priorities and expectations.
* Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
* Competence in using computer-based systems for project tracking and workflow management.
* A proactive mindset with a strong problem-solving approach.
* Ability to thrive in a collaborative and hands-on work environment.
* Ability to identify and implement process improvements.
* Physical ability to lift over 50 pounds.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
