*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hotel Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hotel. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. As the Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all guests have a memorable experience while maintaining high standards of hospitality and operational efficiency in all areas of our hotel including Front Desk, Tapp's Pub and EconoLodge Craft Beer Store.
*Responsibilities*
* Lead and supervise hotel staff, including front desk personnel, housekeeping, and maintenance, vendor and pub teams to ensure smooth operations.
* Develop and implement hotel/pub policies and procedures to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
* Manage the front desk & pub operations, ensuring prompt check-in/check-out processes and addressing guest inquiries or concerns.
* Oversee budgeting and financial management, including monitoring expenses and maximizing revenue opportunities.
* Foster a positive work environment by training, mentoring, and evaluating staff performance.
* Collaborate with the human resources department to recruit, hire, and onboard new employees.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the property.
* Address guest feedback promptly to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues that may arise during their stay.
* Promote hotel & pub services through marketing initiatives and community engagement.
*Experience*
* Proven experience in hotel/restaurant supervision or a similar role within the hospitality industry is essential.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
* Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
* Familiarity with front desk, pub operations and hotel management software is preferred.
* Experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control measures is highly desirable.
* Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus to cater to our diverse clientele.
* Knowledge of human resources practices within the hospitality sector is beneficial.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.75-$18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 ? 45 per week
