*Overview*
We are seeking an innovative and dedicated *Human Resources Coordinator* who could be you! This is an opportunity to be at the core of Oxford College?s HR activities, essential to supporting our team?s growth and development.
You will work to deliver effective and comprehensive HR support across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance. Your duties will include coordinating and assisting in the recruitment process, maintaining employee records, and helping foster an engaging and supportive work environment. Our ideal candidate has experience in HR coordination, a strong knowledge of HR practices and legislation, and exceptional organizational skills.
*As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will:*
* Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communications.
* Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation to ensure a seamless integration for new team members.
* Maintain and update employee records and databases in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
* Support HR initiatives by organizing and facilitating training sessions and development programs.
* Provide guidance and information on HR policies, benefits, and procedures to staff.
* Assist in employee relations, responding to inquiries and helping resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
* Prepare and update HR documentation, including policies, handbooks, and process guidelines.
* Track and ensure compliance with health and safety standards, as well as applicable labour laws and regulations.
* Organize employee engagement events and initiatives to foster a positive work environment.
* Contribute to HR projects and provide administrative support to ensure effective operations.
*Skills and Qualifications:*
* 2-3 years of experience in an HR role, preferably in a coordinator capacity.
* Knowledge of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, and compliance.
* Familiarity with HR software and Microsoft Office Suite (experience with HRIS systems is a plus).
* Bachelor?s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
* Up-to-date knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
* Positive attitude and a proactive approach to supporting team members and solving challenges.
