Operating the Beech 1900D, the King Air 200, and the King Air 350 PAL offers end-to-end solutions including selection and assignment of aircrews, maintenance, creating standard operating procedures, and ensuring aircraft and pilots are always available as needed. To support these critical missions, PAL Aerospace is seeking a Director of Air Ambulance to join our team in St. John's, NL. Duties: Lead the Air Ambulance business unit and operation throughout all current and future PAL Aerospace Air Ambulance locationsCollaborate with the business development team to pursue growth and business development opportunities for Air Ambulance servicesIdentify new business opportunities for Medical Services, emphasizing on PAL's value proposition as the optimal service provider in the local marketBuild relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure quality service providedResponsible for client relationsMaintain financial accountability through interpreting and analyzing operational and financial statementsConduct financial forecasts and quality performance and capture overall operational performanceProduce and recommend annual budgets for Air Ambulance servicesEnsure maximum safety measures are followed within operationsIdentify any areas of non-compliance with a corrective action plansLeadership of PAL Aerospace Air Ambulance employee baseEnsure quality service and management of resourcesMentor team for future growth and succession planningSupport the recruitment for the Air Ambulance teamLiaison with the Chief Pilot with regards to Aircrew standards, training requirements, and Simulator Training plansDevelop and execute technology insertion plans for Air Ambulance servicesPrepare weekly reports for senior management for contractual, quality, and performance updatesReport key performance indicators (KPI) for all aspects of the operationsOther duties, relevant to the position, shall be assigned as required Qualifications: Direct experience leading Air Ambulance flight operations Seasoned management experience in the aviation industry is required Proven experience in developing and maintaining client relationships Experience in Air Ambulance operations is required Strong leadership and organizational skills Knowledge of aviation regulations, with an understanding of medical protocols for Air Ambulance services Effective communication and problem solving abilities Great benefits At PAL Aerospace, we know that compensation isn't the only factor in choosing a company.
