Seeking a compassionate personal care aide to provide ADL care to tracheostomy and ventilator dependant male in Langley City Area. Preference given to experienced and licensed/ certified Care Aides. Responsibilities include: personal hygiene such as showering, washing, toileting, dressing and grooming; tube feeding; medication assistance; tracheostomy Ventilator Ceiling lift Job Requirements: preference given to applicants with formal Care Aide training (willing to train suitable candidate); current First Aid certification; valid BC Drivers Licence; good command of English language; ability to communicate and listen effectively; no history of criminal background Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour Expected hours: 36 per week Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care Schedule: * 12 hour shift Ability to commute/relocate: * Langley, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Education: * AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred) Experience: * Nursing Assistants & Aides: 1 year (required) Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2024-12-09- LocationLangley, BC
