Must have a valid drivers license, clean drivers abstract and be bondable. *RESPONSIBILITIES:* * Work safely and play an active role in continuing to support a positive safety culture * Identify and prioritize electrical maintenance and repairs on commercial and industrial electrical systems * Installation of new electrical systems * Retrofit existing electrical systems * Experience with HVAC and building systems an asset * Active role in permit process for electrical installations and applicable service work * You will ensure that all manufacturer?s guidelines and government regulations regarding electrical maintenance and repair are followed * Maintaining records regarding maintenance work performed, materials used, quality, and cost control * You will ensure a high standard in all finished work while remaining cost-effective * You?ll be responsible for thorough record keeping and the reporting of equipment status including but not limited to work performed *QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:* * Minimum 3rd year indentured apprentice or Red seal Inter-Provincial Electrician Journeyman?s ticket * Class B FSR certificate-not required but an asset * Class A FSR certificate-not required but an asset * A minimum of 3 years previous experience working knowledge of other related trades * Must be comfortable with working at heights * Experience working with DDC systems an asset. * Knowledge and diagnostic skills on motor controls, PLCS, and AC/DC drives * Knowledge and understanding of the Canadian Electric Code * Knowledge of high-voltage circuitry and protection devices (If A ticketed) * WHMIS certificate and Confined Space Entry an asset (will provide applicable safety training where necessary) * Strong organizational and time management skills to provide timely and high-quality service * Willing and able to work in all weather conditions while performing labor-intensive duties * Work closely with our HVAC technicians and plumbers to service our existing customers and also bring new business into the fold Job Type: Full-
