The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial construction, particularly in concrete formwork and structural projects. This role requires a strong understanding of construction techniques, the ability to interpret blueprints, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship while upholding our core values of *Quality, Commitment, and Safety*. *Responsibilities* * Construct, assemble, and install concrete formworks with precision and efficiency. * Use power tools and hand tools to execute carpentry tasks safely and effectively. * Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction processes. * Ensure all formwork and carpentry is plumb, level, and square, adhering to industry and company standards. * Collaborate with other trades and team members to ensure project timelines are met. * Perform construction estimating tasks to assess material and cost requirements. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all safety protocols. * Troubleshoot and resolve construction challenges to ensure project success. *Experience and Qualifications* * Proven experience as a Journeyperson Carpenter or in a similar role within the commercial construction industry. * Strong proficiency in constructing and installing concrete formworks. * Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately. * Experience with construction estimating is an asset. * Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced construction environment. * Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety practices. *Job Location* This position is based in *Edmonton, Alberta*. *Compensation* This is a full-time position with an *hourly wage ranging from $22 to $40*, based on the candidate?s level of experience. *Why Join Innova Contracting Ltd.?* At Innova Contracting Ltd., we pride ourselves on fostering a culture that values teamwork, professionalism, and the drive to deliver exceptional results.
