*Job Title* Apprentice Carpenter *Job Summary* Innova Contracting Ltd., a COR-certified concrete formworks company based in Edmonton, is seeking a motivated and hardworking Apprentice Carpenter to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and learn the craft of carpentry in a supportive and professional environment. The ideal candidate is eager to develop skills in commercial construction, particularly in concrete formwork, while upholding our core values of *Quality, Commitment, and Safety*. *Responsibilities* * Assist Journeyperson Carpenters in constructing and installing concrete formworks. * Use power tools and hand tools under supervision to complete carpentry tasks safely and efficiently. * Measure, cut, and assemble materials following project specifications and guidance. * Read and interpret basic blueprints and schematics with support from senior team members. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. * Load, unload, and organize materials and tools as needed on job sites. * Perform basic troubleshooting and problem-solving tasks under supervision. * Work collaboratively with team members to meet project timelines and objectives. *Experience and Qualifications* * Enrollment in or eligibility for a recognized carpentry apprenticeship program. * Basic understanding of carpentry tools, techniques, and construction practices. * Strong willingness to learn and develop skills in a hands-on construction environment. * Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. * Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor, including lifting and standing for extended periods. * Commitment to workplace safety and following safety protocols. *Job Location* This position is based in *Edmonton, Alberta*. *Compensation* This is a full-time position with a *competitive hourly wage ranging from $18 to $25*, based on the candidate?s level of experience and progress in the apprenticeship program. *Why Join Innova Contracting Ltd.?* At Innova Contracting Ltd., we are committed to fostering the next generation of skilled tradespeople.
