Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work setting: Hospital/medical facility or clinic. Tasks: Check, calibrate and perform routine maintenance to equipment. Prepare recordings and reports of findings for physicians. Review patient's case history and assess nature of problem to determine procedures and tests required. Monitor cardiac activity and record results. Operate electrocardiographs, cardiac ultrasound and other electronic equipment. Perform cardiovascular procedures and tests. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists Registration. Screening questions: Are you available for shift or on-call work?.
