*Perseus Group - *It?s the home of dozens of industry leading brands across multiple vertical markets. *IT Helpdesk Technician * _*GTA/Kitchener/Waterloo ? Oakville, Full Time, Hybrid role*_ *Position Summary:* This is a hybrid role based around the Greater Toronto Area. Primarily working from home but also able to travel to our office locations when needed. The successful candidate will provide Tier 1 technical support to internal staff and customers. *Job Responsibilities: * * Technical support of hardware and software issue * Ticket creation, categorization, prioritization, and escalation * Troubleshoot end-user issues with root cause analysis * Oversee IT contracts and renewal processes * Collaborate and Support SaaS operations by working with senior IT Admins * Install, configure, and support our hosted server environments * Monitor and maintain system and network performance * Performing after-hour system maintenance (lieu time awarded) * Upholding company IT Security policies, governance, and compliance standards *Qualifications and Skills:* * College or University degree in Computer Science or related area of study * 1+ year working with Windows Server * Strong problem solving and technical skills * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment * Enthusiasm for continuous learning * *Bonus: *certifications in Microsoft Systems, or Azure Job Type: Full-time Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * Paid time off * RRSP match * Vision care Schedule: * Monday to Friday Experience: * IT support: 1 year (required) Work Location: Hybrid remote in Oakville, ON L6K 3X9- LocationOakville, ON
