*The Company* Quest Window Systems Inc (?Quest?) is a manufacturer of a window wall system designed for high-rise residential developments, based in Toronto, Ontario Canada. Quest services clients from all over North America, including major metropolises such as New York, Los Angeles, Washington DC, and Toronto. *Purpose * This position is responsible to prepare and monitor drafting related activities. Create and Review a drawing package with various software such as AutoCAD and Revit. Stay on top of assigned projects. . Opportunity to develop and flourish and as a seasoned professional to join our practice and take ownership of the work you produce. *Primary Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): * * Review Shop drawing and fabrication drawings for error and omissions. Focus on details, fitting and standard. * Revised Shop drawing and fabrication drawings based on feed back. * Ability to create and modify Revit family, create dynamic block and Dynamo script. * Responsible for the creation of technical content including details to the highest standard of excellence while ensuring the design intent is consistently maintained throughout the project. * Work closely with the Project Manager, Drafting Manager and coordinate with other staff members as well as coordinating all aspects of the project. * Manage multiple drafting personal over multiple outsource company. * Manage project for drafting related activities. Stay on top of project, monitor due dates and raise flag if any issues. * Responsible for coordinating and communicating with the production team and installation team. * Assist with resolving difficult operating tasks or drawing related Issues. * Keeping up to date on codes, construction practices, products, and technology. * Call/Attend meetings as and when required. * Assist with resolving difficult operating tasks or drawing related Issues. * Keeping up to date on codes, construction practices, products, and technology * Create and Issue RFI?s. must be able to read, interpret ASI and follow up to meet schedule. * May require some site visit. *Qualifications and Skills Required:* * Diploma in Architectural Technology or a University Degree in Architecture. * Minimum 3 years? experience required in window wall or curtain wall industry. (Window wall experience preferred) * Mid-rise and High-rise residential experience preferred. * Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit. * Must have project management experience with strong communication and time management skills. * Manage up to five projects. Maintain due dates. * Site experience is an asset but not a necessity. * Strong leadership and relationship building skills required. * Being able to call meeting as required, take notes, create and distribute minutes of meetings * Be task-oriented ? able to switch between tasks and projects easily *Salary will be based on the skills and experience.* Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year Additional pay: * Bonus pay Benefits: * Casual dress * Dental care * Disability insurance * Employee stock purchase plan * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking * Vision care Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday Work Location: Hybrid remote in Mississauga, ON L4V 1L9
