*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to veterinarians in delivering high-quality care to animals. You will be responsible for performing various clinical and laboratory tasks, ensuring the well-being of our patients while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. *Duties* * Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures. * Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed. * Collect and process laboratory samples, including blood, urine, and tissue samples. * Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to aid in patient care. * Monitor patients' vital signs and overall health during procedures. * Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient. * Educate pet owners on proper care, nutrition, and preventative health measures. * Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment. *Requirements* * A degree or certification in Veterinary Technology from an accredited program. * Proven experience as a Veterinary Technician or in a similar role is preferred. * Strong knowledge of animal behavior, anatomy, and medical terminology. * Proficiency in laboratory techniques and equipment handling. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. * Compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners. * Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently.
