Join us in shaping the future of transportation and apply today Responsibilities: - Safely operate a bus and transport passengers to their destinations - Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations - Maintain a clean and well-maintained bus interior - Provide excellent customer service to all passengers - Communicate effectively with passengers, colleagues, and supervisors - Follow established routes and timetables - Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus - Report any maintenance issues or concerns promptly Your role Safely transporting students to and from school on time. Your profile *You hold a school bus driver?s license in Ontario for 3 years. *You have a good understanding of English and are able to communicate effectively. *You have driven a school bus for at least 3 years.* You hold a valid (non-probationary) B driver's license and a good driving record. Required Qualifications Experience working with the young children Knowledge of Ministry of Transport regulations (CPR) Level C certificate Key competencies Excellent time management skills Patience and good listening skills Good judgment and adaptability Other conditions of employment The following documents are required by successful candidates during the onboarding process for the purpose of insurance registration: Satisfactory and recent driver's abstract (3-year driver record) without any infractions, convictions or demerit point Letter of experience showing previous insurance experience driving similar type vehicle Driver's personal automobile insurance information Additional Information Currently looking for Ajax/Pickering Drivers This is a part-time position consisted of a split shift. There is a requirement to work Monday-Friday: 7:30AM to 9:00AM returning for a split shift from 2:30PM to 5:00PM.
