Details of the position Job title: Guidance Counsellor School / Centre / Department : Alexander Galt Regional High School Location : Sherbrooke (Lennoxville), Quebec Workload : 40% / 14 hours per week Status:Replacement Annual salary (prorated to workload) $53 876 - $95 479 Supervisor : Director of Complementary Services Nature of the work Under the supervision of the director the Guidance Counsellor provides assistance to students on the choice of their educational profile and career orientation. Through group and individual counseling sessions and on the basis of academic history, the counselor will advise students on their individual educational and career paths. He/she will be required to collaborate in the organization of school-to-work activities, study sessions, as well as promoting both- LocationSherbrooke, QC
