Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Outdoors. Tasks: Operate heavy equipment. Read blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements . Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks. Measure distance, volume, length and weight. Complete onboard and other logs. Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment. Prepare accident reports. Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment. Perform minor repairs to equipment. Type of heavy equipment operated: Backhoe excavator, loader. Bulldozer, large or small. Trencher, large or small. Loader. Front end loader. Bobcats. Equipment and machinery experience: Skidsteer. Area of work experience: Backfilling. Excavation. Trenching. Type of industry experience: Residential construction. Road construction. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding.
