Position Title: Line Electrician Position Type: Regular - Full-Time Position Location: Grand Falls Requisition ID: 33496 Job Posting Grand Falls Fry Plant*Now Hiring* Line ElectricianJob Title: Line ElectricianDepartment: Grand Falls Fry LineReports to: Electrical SupervisorPurpose: To ensure the proper operation of Line Equipment, WWTP Equipment, Utilities and Cold Storage EquipmentKnowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training requirements.Must be a licensed Industrial Electrician or enrolled in apprenticeship programDual trade Industrial Mechanic / Industrial Electrician is an assetThe Electrical Supervisor is responsible of providing safety, GMP, HACCP, environmental, equipment, software, or any other required training, as neededSafety requirements: Attend Safety TalksFollow Lockout / Tag-Out procedures and all McCain Safety PoliciesWear appropriate PPE and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)Work safe and promote a safe working environment to fellow employeesComplete Job Safety Plans / Recognize safety hazards and correct themKnowledge of CSA code for Electrical Rooms, Power Distributions and Construction JobsJob responsibilities:Carry out duties assigned by the Electrical Supervisor and E&I PlannerComplete scheduled work and Preventive Maintenance (PM) workTroubleshoot and repair equipment problems and electrical system faults Perform basic PLC programming changes as necessary Use the computerized maintenance management system for processing work orders and preventative maintenance tasks. Technically Complete (TECO) work orders and enter confirmation comments in SAP.Identify equipment malfunctions and create Notifications in SAP to have issues addressed.Maintain shop and follow good housekeeping practices (5S)Follow McCain maintenance, HACCP and Environmental programs such as "Temporary Repairs", "Sanitation after Maintenance", Waste Management and Recycling, etc.Must be able and willing to perform shift work: 2 days / 2 nights and 4-off schedule, 12 hour shiftsMust be able and willing to come in on days-off during Sanitation days and Shutdowns NOTE: This description constitutes the minimum requirements for a Line Electrician.
