*Sales Representative* Family Meats Ltd is looking for their next Sales Representative to join our team. The successful applicant is friendly, well mannered, capable of building meaningful relationships with clients and is willing to go the extra mile! *Duties & Responsibilities* * Receive and process orders/credits in person, by phone, email, and voicemails * Initiate sales by calling existing clients * Check inventory for product availability, delivery schedule, and price verification * Troubleshoot customer service issues and coordinate between internal departments for a positive outcome * Create and print sales orders, product transfers and adjustments * Co-ordinate for shipping and/or pickup of orders with corresponding paperwork * Communicate shortages with Sales Reps * Communicate, assist & support Sales team with inventory & pricing inquiries. * Produce reports for various customers and other departments. * General administrative and clerical support * Other duties as required *Requirements:* * High school diploma * Ability to stay calm under pressure * Excellent customer service skills * Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude towards customers at all times * Strong computer skills * Previous experience in Sales is an asset * Experience in the meat industry will be an asset * Ability to communicate effectively (reading, writing, speaking) in the English language * Commitment to Food Safety by adhering to GMP and sanitary work practices * Flexibility to work longer hours if and when needed *Why should you apply with Family Meats?* * We offer wages competitive within the industry * You will work with others who are motivated to excel * We are a well-established, growing meat processing and distribution company * We are committed to providing a work/life balance * We support growth & development Please reply in confidence to this posting to this post with a current resume.
