D@P is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow, providing exceptional patient care, and supporting the dental team in various clinical and administrative tasks. This position requires a proactive individual who is passionate about dentistry and committed to enhancing the patient experience. _*New Grads Welcome!*_ * Wage based on experience * $200/year uniform allowance * Monday to Friday; 8:30am-5:00pm *Responsibilities* * Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. * Take and develop X-rays as needed. * Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans. * Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. * Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment. *Requirements* * Completion of a Certified/Registered Dental Assisting Level II * Registered or in the process of registering with the ODAA * Experience with dental practice management software such as ClearDent & SideDexis is an asset * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. * Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. * Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
