Like everyone, we all start on the tools. On-site learning the various components of our construction processes. Understanding what we are building, and how to build it, will translate positively into a future position of management and/or one day leading a team of your own. Today you?re a labourer, but in two years you could be leading a team of labourers. In four years you can be a project manager. Maybe in six years you want to try a role in estimating and/or sales. With the current growth rate of Cavalry and the loyalty shared between employees, management and owners, this vision is attainable for those who join now, in 2024. *What You Will Be Doing* · Building Britespan Structures (or as most call them ?Cover-All?s). This is like the gateway into the construction side of our business. We run one full time crew constructing Britespan?s for both commercial and agricultural customers. You will learn how to read drawings, construct & erect the structural components of these buildings, as well as the finishes such as framing overhead doors, installing metal cladded side and end walls, and more. ·Recovering Cover-All?s, as those older structures need new fabric covers. We run a second full-time crew that spends a portion of their time taking down old Cover-All fabric canvases and installing the new Britespan canvases. ·Pre-Engineered Steel, large dairy barns to large warehouses. The pre-engineered steel, rigid frame installation crews are growing with the increased demand and sales of this channel of our company. Learn how to read drawings, assemble & erect frame lines, finish the structure with metal cladding and flashings, and more. *What You Will Bring Along * · Personality is the highest weighted factor when hiring in 2024. Be proud of the growth of our company and the role you play? · Some construction experience is an asset and will be considered. · Comfortable working at heights, but of course, you?re tied off and in an enclosed piece of equipment. Working 20?-0? high isn?t as bad as it sounds under modern safety policies. · A-Restricted licence would put you ahead of other applicants, however if you show interest in attaining this licence and taking on the tasks required of this licence holder, we will consider. · Valid driver?s licence is a must, along with a reliable source of transportation to and from site. *Additional Information ?
